Our Therapy Process

  • Contact the Speech-Language Pathologist to discuss concerns and determine if a Speech-Language Evaluation is appropriate.

  • Schedule the Speech and Language Evaluation.

  • Determine Eligibility - based on interpretation of testing results. Schedule therapy sessions if therapy is found to be warranted.

  • Therapy is provided for a 6 month period. At the end of 6 months, a re-evaluation will be completed to determine if they need another 6 months of therapy or if they will be dismissed from services. Children can also be dismissed if they master all goals prior to the 6 month mark.

  • A home program will be established with the parents and is ongoing. The rate at which therapy will end is highly correlated with parent involvement and carryover of learned skills in therapy.
